Rene Limeres
Rene Limeres was raised on the East Coast but has lived most of his life in Alaska. A longtime wilderness guide, photographer and outdoors writer, with hundreds of credits in all major sporting magazines, he has written five books on the incomparable sports fishing (he is considered one of the premier authorities on fly fishing Alaska and Russia) and wildlife of Alaska and Russia. Developing a self-sufficient off-grid wilderness homestead in the Alaska Range above Denali National Park has given Rene the opportunity to expand his passion for guiding to include leading aurora tours and other wilderness adventures during Alaska’s winter.
